The Cassandra Network launches its mentoring program!
The Mentoring Women in Public Policy Program's (MeWiPP) mission is to incorporate and foster on-going mentoring relationships for women working in the field of public policy. Its purpose is to serve as a catalyst for the development of learning partnerships between experienced and novice public policy professionals. We believe that mentoring is a learning partnership in which the mentor guides the mentee to reach her specific learning goal(s). Instead of being mentor driven, with the mentor taking full responsibility for the mentee’s learning, the mentee learns to share responsibility for the learning setting, priorities and resources and becomes increasingly self-directed.

Please email Angie Stefaniak if you are interested in participating in the MeWiPP Program. Please include your name, contact information, organization and position, and whether you are interested in being a mentor or a mentee. You will receive additional details.
